Rudy’s has put a package together including both! Both the AirDog and DCR conversion kit include all parts needed to complete installation. The CP4 high-pressure fuel pump in 2011 to 2022 Ford Super Duty diesel trucks has a well-earned reputation for failing without warning, creating sudden power loss, and taking out the expensive high-pressure fuel system in the process. Despite having to deal with being broken down on the side of the road, truck owners will be facing fuel system repairs that can easily exceed $10,000. The unreliable reputation is supported by recalls and lawsuits leveled at various auto manufacturers that use the CP4 in their production vehicles. S&S Diesel Motorsport, the common rail diesel injection experts, teamed up with PurePower Technologies, Inc.®, the aftermarket division of longstanding fuel system manufacturer, Stanadyne®, to do the impossible. Collectively, they solved the widely-known CP4 fuel pump problem plaguing Ford Super Duty trucks using the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel engine. With a price of $1,990.00 USD, the S&S Diesel Motorsport Ford 6.7L CP4 to DCR Pump Conversion can save Ford truck owners $10,000 to $15,000 in repairs. The DCR Pump Conversion is emissions compliant (SEMA Cert #SC-SDM01-0034) and fits 2011 to 2022 Ford F250-F750 diesel trucks. AirDog 5G An industry first! The AirDog® II-5G is the first diesel Fuel Air Separation System to include an integrated diaphragm fuel pressure regulator. This regulator allows for more fuel pressure adjustability, offers better fuel flow at pressure, and can be boost compensated! This system has larger porting to allow less cavitation and noise at the inlet of the higher flowing 220GPH pumps. All AirDog II-5G systems come with improved wiring harnesses and connectors as well! The wiring harness is now 12ga from the battery all the way to the internal connections in the motor. A Metri-Pack 280 connector replaces the Deutch 2 pin connector which allows more more current flow without creating excessive heat. All other connectors in the harness are weather pack to keep the elements out. This system has the same 4G motor technology that has proven itself to be a reliable, quiet operating system. It also retains the “Demand Flow” of the older AirDog II variants. Demand Flow means whatever fuel the injection system does not consume gets recirculated back through the filter base.
