eBay Praise Of Folly Disillusioned album | Compat Disc (2021 Deluxe Edition) Autographed with Notecard in Silver Ink on Black Archival Paper The freshly remastered/remixed 9 track Praise Of Folly “Disillusioned” album on Compact Disc with all new artwork in a 6 panel double gatefold CD booklet, plus an additional lyric booklet with lyrics for all songs in a 4 panel CD booklet. This CD package comes in a classic CD jewel case. Autographed by hand in silver metallic ink by Thomas on the band portrait page of the double gatefold CD booklet, plus a short thank you notecard written on black archival paper in silver metallic ink. If you wish the notecard to be dedicated to you or a friend simply request this in the notes section of your purchase order with the name that is to be used in the dedication on the card–otherwise the name of the buyer as listed on eBay will be used for the dedication. As the world burns from the inside out, “Disillusioned” has landed on BandCamp and is ready and waiting to take you on a dark trip of introspection and dark musical dynamism.. The 1995 cult classic gothic post punk release “Disillusioned”, by Praise Of Folly, has been dramatically remastered and partially remixed by the band’s leader Thomas McFarlan in 2021 for the digital age and is now available in Digital Download and Compact Disc formats with all new artwork. Celebrated by the leading 1990s alternative rock magazine, “B-Side Magazine”, as “the future” of gothic post punk, this highly sought after and long out of print release has been one of the best kept secrets in the music collections of the most discriminating gothic post punk aficionados. From editor Nick C’s review in B-Side Magazine May/June 1996: “On their album “Disillusioned” Praise Of Folly hold on to the dark atmosphere without getting overly dramatic or self paradic. Instead the trio fronted by the vocals of Thomas soars even while exploring the depths.
