DESCRIPTION: This is a PSC Magellan 8500 series scale scanner top cover, also known as a platter. It is NOT a scale or scanner and ONLY the lid as pictured. It fits the 8500, 8502 and 8504 long models. All 8500/8502 and 8504 are long measuring 12.5″ with front lip. You may need to calibrate your scale afterwards with the calibration weight and Datalogic procedure, but usually not. Ours are used, but nice shape. Front glass will have little scratches on it, but these are nicer units, the bad ones we throw away and the 3 little covers for lights may or may not be there, most are missing one two as every store as they fall out over time and are cosmetic. The stainless will be nice, that is what the customer sees and I do polish those too just like the photos.
