A Happy Fall Season to you! I am selling off a few of my New duplicate knives that I have been keeping in my Safe, and this is one of them. They need to go to a good home. (He says under his breath, knowing his knife sickness well:) What we have here is a very special, New condition, hard to find 2009 model, Sprint Run Spyderco Manix 2 knife. Only 500 pieces ever made! This one was built in 2009. The G-10 scales are in a Royal Blue color, and has a CPM-S30V satin steel blade. Part number: C101GPBL2 . MSRP of this knife in 2010 was $199.95. It has the old school clear ball cage of course, and even the slide-out portion of the box, as seen in one of the pictures, is of the old variety. It also has fully skeletonized liners, so it’s as light as any G-10 Manix 2 has ever been. The pictures say it all. Such a beautiful knife! This knife has an December 2009 manufacturer date (LI), as seen on the box, and in the picture/s. So a New 15 year old knife. A very special piece of Spyderco history! Am I forgetting anything? A run of royal blue G-10 handle and full flat-ground CPM S30V bladed Manix 2 are available for a short time. True to the original, the Manix 2 Sprint has a Ball Bearing Lock™ which is a hardened free-floating ball bearing contained in a custom hi-tech polymer cage. The round ball bearing allows the lock to self adjust across a large surface, smoothly and consistently locking-up with solid confidence. Evolving over time, the Ball Bearing Lock’s strength withstands hard work with a secure, versatile and comfortable grip. Ergonomics are peerless in this design. The blade on this limited run is CPM S30V a full flat-grind with aggressive thumb serrations (jimping) above a super-sized 14mm Spyderco Round Hole. The jimping doesn’t stop there. With full skeletonized steel liners, the scales have jimping that extends beyond the custom-colored royal blue G-10 handle scales scalloping areas of the handle’s perimeter. This one is not slipping out of your hand and works like clockwork with gloves on. The liners pull double purpose by adding rigidly and lightweight strength to the handle.A three-screw clip is left/right-hand carry, positioned for comfort and deep pocket carry.
