This is a feature and complication rich fine timepiece is at the very high-end of the Technomarine quartz spectrum and is really, really rare. It is a fantastic, masculine, take-no-prisoners grab and go timepiece for both rugged pursuits and throwing on your wrist for nightclubs, bars and anywhere you want to make a definite statement. There is quite the rarity and scarcity factor for this one in the gold + black case color and dial. In fact, these are limited edition — only 500 made —which of course adds to the scarcity, collectibility and potentially appreciability of the timepiece. A few of these bad boys found their way to various gray market dealers in either Store Model or pre-owned and almost immediately sold out. I think it is because of the build quality, in-your-face styling and overall night-club cool aesthetic of them. And Technomarine certainly has a passionate fan base which is most notable in Europe and Central & South America. This one is number 328 of 500. With the rubber strap that allows for a secure fit, I can recommend this watch for somebody with a wrist size of 16cm in circumference and larger. I have an average size wrist and this watch still works. It definitely makes a statement and is classically oversized. In the black + gold and high-readiblity color and dial set-up, the watch wears true to form.2. This is an bold but clearly mission-driven chronograph — it is an impressive statement, not gaudy but still kind of flashy. The dial, bezel and sapphire crystal interplay makes this watch as it beautiful, in a sort of luxury sporting kind of way. The caseback is no-nonsense and all of the value is on the front-side gorgeous dial. 3. The chronograph adds the visual interest and it is over a combination rose gold color and regular gold color that looks luxurious… yet interesting and still “tough guy.” This might be the definitive bouncer’s watch on South Beach if you get my drift. Or maybe a security guard for an F1 driver. 4. Saphire crystal over the sexy dial adds to the strong and impressive build quality. And with 200m water resistance, this one is at home on any boat and made for yachts, super-yachts or even a Grady White. 5. This is a chronograph watch that will last decades. I cannot overstate how substantial and well-made this watch feels in person. 6. And check out the Big Date — it just looks perfect and it is delightfully crafted with a black background date-wheel to keep the Black / Rose / Gold color-way in tact. 7. This watch is aimed for a rugged but still somewhat flashy individualist — somebody who is not afraid to get their hands dirty but still wants something unique, bold and very high-quality without paying for a bunch of magazine advertisement hype. This version is for the Yacht Club, a special night, the best restaurants, any cool bar or pub or beachside with a stiff drink. At sunset, this handsome fine timepiece is the play… maybe grab a mojita with this one your wrist. We do not offer a warranty but will work with you to make any post-purchase repairs via advice on where to go and what to do (with no profit for us but paid for by you).
