Tesi OTTO 12MM Momentary Toggle style Kill Switch is a quick and easy modification. The switch itself is heavy duty and built to last. Specs:Type: Momentary Toggle Switch Operation Type: Normally Open (yes, this is correct for instrument kill switch operation. Included instructions show you how to wire it properly!)Housing Material: ThermoplasticMounting hole Size: 12mmMounting Panel Thickness: 1mm-5mmOperation Pressure: about 5n-7nOperation Stroke: 2.0 mmContact Resistance: 50 mOhmMechanical Life: >500,000 cyclesSwitch Rating: 5A/250VDC It looks like a standard amp power or standby switch, but the main difference is that this switch automatically returns to the default position, which means you’re not yanking the switch this way and that to get your guitar to stutter. The On/Off overlay is easily removable. The switch is easy to install. If you have the slightest bit of skill with a soldering iron you can do it yourself. If you do not have that skill, you should have a guitar repair person do it. The mounting hole is slightly larger than a standard volume or tone pot (12MM vs. 9MM). The Tesi OTTO will work with any pickup configuration. Just solder one pole to the hot pickup signal wire and one to the ground.
