1982 “A” frame Barbie dream house cottage. The walls fold hold and the roof top folds out to expand the cottage. Included in the sale is the cottage that stands almost 24” high in the center point and is almost 21” across from the bottom of the red roof point across to the opposite red roof point. It is almost 18” deep from front door to back door on the exterior. These measurements are the folded measurements prior to opening the side walls and roof top to expand it out. The pictures don’t do it justice (my table was off level making it difficult to set up). There are some scuffs in a couple places and a small crack in the sliding door side and a small corner that has a broken piece of plastic missing-these are indicated in the photos. For the age of 40+ years this set is in very good condition! The cottage also comes with the 4 poles that hold the folded out roof top up (they are designed to pop into place to allow the unit to be stable for play. It also comes with the rooftop fencing that slides into place around the rooftop. These pieces are in very good condition with the only notation to being discolored slightly with age. There is a bed that is approx 12.5” in length to accommodate the standard size Barbie doll. The bed has a foam “mattress” and additional coverings (the coverings do have stains on them but are not ripped or torn so they are being included in the sale). There is the Barbie Sofa that is 9” in length and approx 6” in width. It has a covering and the fabric is coming away from the sofa but appears to be able to be placed back into place. There is a purple turn chair that is from a salon set but is included. There is also dishes, serving wear, utensils and cups that are pictured which are included. I do not know if these particular items were original Barbie items from this era, but are still included. Barbie’s tub 9” in length is included as well.
