These artworks are by the artist and book illustrator David Pratt. There is not a lot known about him other than that he was an artist who specialised in illustrating all forms of nature and produced worked through the Kathleen Bolland Studio in Covent Garden London during the 1950s – 1960s. This is one of a small collection of original illustrations I have, some are watercolour and others are scraperboards, which were produced for books and magazine which I have listed on Ebay. ​ This is not signed on the front but has his name on the back. The detail is superb and most have been protected by paper and so the colours are as bright as the day they were painted. This has protective paper. Measurements: overall 9.5inches wide x 10.75inches high, the artwork itself is 7inches x 8.25inches high. Condition: fairly good condition, minor surface wear – please see all photos as these form part of the condition report. Weight without packaging: 85g – this will be packaged between card classed as a small parcel. **Non UK customers please note: Import VAT and customs duty may be charged by your country. Please check your government website to find out what fees you may be charged as they vary for each country.** Please see all details within the listing where you can read about postage and packaging. My costs include a small packaging charge and if I ever overcharge by mistake please be assured I will refund immediately via paypal. Large Parcel: not exceeding 2.5m length and 5m length and girth combined, the weight restriction in this category is 30kg and service provided by Parcelforce Worldwide.
