This is a 5 string bass. With a unique combination of Yamaha’s innovative design, precision engineering technology, and skilled craftsmanship, members of the development team YGD (Yamaha Guitar Development) have created an instrument for players who do not tolerate any compromises. We created TRBX. TRBX is capable of flexible sound creation that maintains the individuality of each player, while centering on a thick and powerful sound. With a design structure that achieves high playability and light weight, it has overwhelmingly high potential and reliability. The bass that all players have been waiting for, regardless of music genre, is now here. Powerful bass beyond imagination from a slim shape The three-dimensionally cut body is lightweight and provides a comfortable fit while ensuring sufficient volume and producing powerful bass. The body material is mahogany. The warm and sticky bass sound is attractive. The slimmest neck of all Yamaha basses The easy-to-grip neck allows for smooth fingering and supports difficult performances. Uses a 5-piece maple/mahogany construction that is resistant to warping and twisting. The joint shape has been designed to ensure high strength and after repeated test playing for a long time, and it transmits string vibration without wasting it without compromising the ease of playing in high positions. Newly developed active circuit that stimulates bassist’s motivation The TRBX500 series is equipped with an active/passive changeover switch. The 3-band EQ allows you to use active sounds that are clear and wide-ranging, and passive sounds that are delicate and warm. We suggest players who are particular about bass tones to pursue even deeper sounds. Wood grain/color varies from piece to piece. There is a small paint defect on the body near the neck pocket, but it can be used without any problems when playing.
